Lithuania

Welcome to the Lithuania Cartooning the Future project page. The place where your ideas can shape the future!

An initiative of the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in Lithuania

In honour of 100 years bilateral cooperation between Lithuania and the Netherlands, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Lithuania is inviting youth across the country to share their ideas about the future.

The cooperation and strong relationship between The Netherlands and Lithuania is based on common values, respect for human rights and the importance of democracy and rule of law. In the project Cartooning the Future we explore the various ways in which we can make a difference for human rights.

This youth programme, on initiative of the Embassy, is coordinated by the Dutch Educational Organisation The Next Movement and co-created with the local Andrei Sakharov Research Centre for Democratic Development, Lithuanian NGO Inovatyvi Karta and Global traveling and learning platform Abroadship.org.
